Sorry about the dishonest blog title. There are really six kids now, but the blog name stays.
Here are our Worthy Book Reviewers:
COOPER is 1. He is just beginning to LOVE books. He mostly likes to eat them and throw them. But he also likes to look at pictures and turn pages. He may get a little help with his reviews.
TURNER is 3. The boy who can't sit still finally learned how to sit still. He'll lay on our bed and listen to daddy read to him for hours if given the option. He doesn't really have a favorite book, but will listen to just about everything.
REGAN is 5 and has loved books since birth. When she was a toddler she would look through as many as 30 books a night before she konked out. She learned how to read at the ripe ole age of 3 (nearly 4), but mostly enjoys being read to. She especially loves the Little House books.
LANDON is 8 and is really beginning to read on his own. He loves being read to by his Dad, his Mom, his Grandpa--or even by a CD player.
PORTER is 11 and is kind of picky about books. The first book he ever read was Charlotte's Web. He remembers reading it in the garage while his friends were playing outside, begging him to join in. Mom couldn't wipe the smile off her face. When he gets sucked into a book, ain't nothing gonna pull him away!
HAYDEN will read anything and everything...and he does. It's a full time job searching for good books for this 13 year old boy to read. He's read everything from Harry Potter to The Secret Garden to Spot...okay he was reading to Cooper. He goes through 3-5 books per week. And loves them all.
